So you realized you're neurodivergent. Now what?

Picture this: you've just realized you're neurodivergent, and the fireworks of "aha" moments are going off left and right. 🤯

When you first realize you're neurodivergent, there are two phases most folks go through.

The first phase we hear about all the time, this is where we dive into systems, tips, tricks, and strategies.

Noise-canceling headphones for the sensory overwhelm, different calendar systems for the ADHDers—you know the drill - how do we make life easier, more comfy.

We love sharing all the tips and tricks.

But there's another phase that's even more vital and often gets less attention.

This newfound realization changes everything about the stories you’re telling yourself and the way you move through the world.

Whoa, right?

Now, this is when we journey back through our entire childhood.

Suddenly, those report cards calling us "too chatty" or getting yelled at for being lazy start making sense.

You weren't lazy; you had executive dysfunction!

You weren't chatty for no reason; you were expressing yourself!

Here's the kicker: all the words, stories, and labels we've used to build our sense of self get flipped on their heads.

It's a mix of relief and sadness; sometimes it's a whirlwind of both.

But fear not, my friend, for this is where the real magic happens!

Integrating this new understanding into who we are today gives us a fresh perspective on the world around us.

Suddenly, decisions become intentional; responses become purposeful.

We start shaping our new identity.

While strategies and tips are fabulous, I'm personally passionate about this integration phase. It's where we heal our past wounds, navigate burnout, and rewrite our stories for a brighter future.

If you're just stepping into the realm of neurodivergence and wrestling with those "who am I now" feelings, know that it's normal.

Take a deep breath, my friend.

I've got a process to help you integrate these emotions, rewrite your past stories, and refocus as you move forward.

In case you forgot where we've met, I'm Casey—a neurodivergent coach with a master's in mental health and multiple flavors of neurodivergence myself.

It's my passion to support you along this journey of embracing your neurodivergent brain and integrating that into your extraordinary life.

So, you've heard me say, "Hey, maybe we should lower our expectations of ourselves a bit," and immediately thought, "Ah, so we're just giving up now? Cool, cool." Think of it as upgrading your inner dialogue from a drill sergeant to a supportive coach. Self-acceptance is like realizing you're not a superhero—and that’s totally...

But before we talk about that, let’s back up for a second. What does it mean to you to...
